According to Bernard Plossu (born in 1945), the act of photography is connected to the experience of walking for hours, feeling the ground underfoot, the temperature of the air, the light, the smells, and the sounds. For him, photography, before being a language, is a movement of the body. He photographs intuitively, capturing moments of grace and "his intermediate landscapes," bearing witness to a unique freedom, from Mexico to the United States, from Africa to Europe.
