Echos du silence, François Cheng & Patrick Le Bescont

The poems of François Cheng, in a brief form of a few free verses, echo the photographs of Patrick Le Bescont. They strive to capture the various nuances of the late winter landscape, rendered in shades of gray and white, and the breaks, ruptures, and cracks of the ice on the Saint Lawrence in March, at the beginning of its luminous thaw.
