Entre sculpture et photographie presents eight artists of the late 20th century who practiced both sculpture and photography, following in the footsteps of Rodin, who had a passion for photography insofar as it enabled him to take new steps in his creation. In this sense, a new generation of artists in the 1960s sought to reformulate the concept of sculpture through the systematic use of photography, then recognized as an artistic medium.
