The work of Jean-Pierre Raynaud has been approached many times, yet it has preserved, until this book, its most singular and, by the same token, most representative aspect. The very image of the individual, of his evolution and of his work, the house of Jean-Pierre Raynaud reveals to us, step by step and through the simplest and most austere medium - the white earthenware tile - his formal conceptions, his apprehension of the space.
