Louve basse, Denis Roche
(Part of Catherine Millet’s theme: Unclassifiable, but at the confluence of the above)

I began writing Louve basse at the end of 1972, a few months after a first text in prose, Artaud refait, tous refaits! which was largely produced on a tape recorder - and the only one to be found here unedited. I announced at the same time, by publishing Le Mécrit, the end of a demonstration applied until then to the only poetic practice: namely that poetry was a peeled moor where the language did not blow any more but with "covered words", that its various farmers froze their asses there, that the rats started to piss everywhere.
